Divorce Application Fixed Fee Scheme
Our divorce application fixed fee for this service is £600 + VAT. In addition, there is a fee payable to the Court of £550 and our identification check fee of £18. This service includes:
- Meeting you to discuss the contents of the divorce petition, Court procedure and eligibility for reduction or exemption from payment of the Court fee,
- Preparing the divorce petition and issuing the divorce at Court,
- Preparing the documentation and applying for the first divorce order, Decree Nisi, and the final divorce order, Decree Absolute,
- Corresponding with the Court on your behalf and keeping you informed throughout.
Please note this service does not apply if your spouse does not agree to the divorce. Additional fees apply if you require:
- Personal service of the court documents if your spouse does not return the form,
- Advise and negotiation if your spouse seeks more than one set of amendments to the divorce petition,
- Advice in relation to financial or children’s issues,
- Translation of your marriage certificate.
